Back in May I invited some friends over for a Pinterest Party. Our boards are filled to the brim with ideas but making the time to do them can be challenging. I will never pass up an opportunity to have our house filled with people and to decorate it girly. Enjoy pictures from our pinterest inspired celebration.

In 28 days my friend Tiffiany will become a Mrs. This past weekend we showered her with pretty decorations, great food, and lots of new stuff for her casa {which just happens to be one mile away from my house}. I helped with making decorations and making strawberries stuffed with cheesecake that was requested by the bride-to-be.

Helping to Bring Home Baby Kersey

This past weekend I went to Lexington to hang out with some besties, Ashley and Leah, but also go to a fundraiser to Bring Home Baby Kersey. My sweet bible study leader, Sarah, from EKU is adopting a baby from Euthopia.I love any excuse to get dressed up and when it is for a good cause it makes it even better.

Before the fundraiser I got to relax, catch up, and laugh with my sweet friends. Ashley and I may have wasted some of our brain cells watching hours of the Kardashians but when it's raining the best idea is to watch people lives on TV and be thankful my life is not followed by cameras :)

Let's Get Married {David and Britt's Wedding}

Brittany is a married lady and enjoying some time alone with her hubby. Here are some pictures from her big day {10-14-11}. The ceremony may have been a little chilly but I loved being able to share it with my friend.

One final bang

We celebrated Brittany's last few days as a single lady shopping at Easton Town Center in Columbus a couple weekends ago. We had a great time shopping, eating, shopping, eating...you get the idea :) Easton is an outdoor shopping area that was one of the biggest I had ever seen. They had the biggest Forever 21 I had ever been to and stores like Pandora, Lego, and Puma that I don't ever see at the malls back home. We ate lunch at California Pizza Kitchen and had dinner at Bon Vie. We ate dinner around 8:30 and when I eat late I never feel very good so I opted for dessert. The waitress described to me the dessert and in my head I thought it was going to be really big {like most restaurant desserts are} but this one came out in a little espresso glass and was itty bitty. I was the talk of the dinner table after that, everyone kept asking me if I was full :) Enjoy some pictures from the trip.

From Ms. to Mrs.

My dear friend Brittany is getting married TOMORROW! I am ready to wear a pretty dress, watch the beautiful bride walk down the aisle, catch up with friends, and dance the night away with Kyle. I am in for a beautiful fall wedding :)

I will share some of her DIY ideas soon since I may/may not have told her she HAD to do all these cute ideas we saw since she was having an outdoor fall wedding :)

Home away from Home

Whenever I am looking for a little getaway from Cincinnati I head to Lexington. It is far enough that I feel like I am away but also close enough so the drive does not take too long to get home. Two besties live in Lexington {or right around there} Ashley and Leah. Whenever we are together we have a great time, lounging around for some of the time, watching America's Next Top Model {man that show is addicting} but this time we got sucked into Khloe Kardashian's wedding special. We usually have no itinerary, just plan stuff as the day goes along and it is a nice break for me to not have everything planned. This past weekend I was down in Lexington and we went to the Pinnacles. After the pinnacles we headed to Ashley's parents house in Rockcastle. I have not seen her parents or sisters in a long time, it was great to catch up with them again :) I had such a great time relaxing and getting to hang out!

It may look like Ashley was prepared for our hike but this is actually her sister's backpack. We found them on the trail and used her bag since we did not bring any water ourselves.

A few of them {look closely you can see Ashley's blonde hair} took the road less traveled. They climbed over the boulders to get to the end of the path. I am a girl who does not get off the beaten path and the hiking was enough to get my heart beating fast. I did not need the thrill of almost falling to get me there :)
