Full Speed Ahead

I had mentioned that we started re-doing our basement and then it flooded a bunch of times and production was put on hold. Poor Kyle was bummed every time he went downstairs to see his unfinished basement and to know that he still had a lot of work to do. Now that Kyle has been out of school for a couple of months, Kyle and his dad have been tirelessly working on the basement. The basement is starting to look like...well a basement again. I even helped a little by helping paint the walls. Here is our progress so far, we {Kyle and his dad} still have more things to do but at least Kyle can play ping pong again :)

This is what you see when you walk down the steps to the basement. Kyle painted the UK logo and the NCAA championship years {note he left room at the end for the many more championships they will win :)}

A close up of his work. I don't think crafty would be the right word to describe a guy who can make stuff but he impresses me with the things he is able to do :) He is super talented!
